    MEASUREMENT OF TIME
    17TH CENTURY STRIKING CLOCK
    A peculiar striking clock of the early-seventeenth century. As the hours are sounded the
    man's head moves, and the animal at his feet jumps. The figure indicates the time on a
    revolving band which bears the hour numerals. A sirnilar one may be seen at the British
    Museum.
