BMW Airhead Bowman/MAC Extended Oil Pan Deep Sump w/ Oil Pickup, Adapter and HW.
For sale is a deep sump oil pan for a BMW airhead motorcycle. There are no markings on the pan but it looks like a Bowman or early MAC type deep sump/extended pan that they produced in the 80s and 90s for these bikes. The pan is in good shape, and has most of its original black coating. All fins in pretty good shape and the drain plug threads are good. This pan has a plug in the side of it for an optional oil temp sensor if you wanted to use one. The pickup and adapter are part of the kit and lower the point at which the engine sucks oil from, allowing you to take advantage of the deeper sump. The bolts come with it as well, you will just need the gaskets and your original screen and retainer clip.
This setup was on my 81 R100 for years and never gave me a problem, reason for selling is the bike is being restored and going back to original BMW parts. These don't come up for sale too often from what I can tell. This should fit many year BMWs (airheads) but it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm fitment. Please ask questions if you have any.
