    Several people contacted me about re-cap service or board-level repair. My answer is always no. I am only doing this for fun. It takes way too much time to debug a none-working board.
    If you have a none-working Macintosh Portable, likely you will need a re-cap service. However, it doesn’t mean the problem will be fixed with a re-cap. Often the traces are broken and they took me almost forever to find them. Once I found the problem, I may not have the parts. Just want to share my experience so far.
