Description
This is theFirst (1st), Second (2nd), and Seventh (7th) Editions of Robert W. Miller's Clock Guide: Identification with Prices printed in 1971, 1971, and 1981 respectively.
They are all 8 1/2" by 11", soft cover, and are published by Wallace-Homestead Book Company, Des Moines, Iowa; the 1st and 2nd editions have 123 pages and the 7th edition has 147 pages, all are fully illustrated in both black & white and color, and together they weigh 3.10 lbs
.
The 1st edition has light wear and scuffing to the covers, the covers are slightly worn at the spine, and there's wear at the head and tail of the spine; the 2nd edition has some brown residue from a sticker on the back (see close-up), the lower left corner is bumped (see close-up), and there's a piece of clear tape in the middle of the spine (see close-up), the front cover has a light crease parallel to the central right edge (see main picture), and the spine is worn and starting to crack in places, but is intact; and the 7th edition has mildly worn corners and edges, the spine is worn and has a central crack (but is still intact), the back cover has wear (see close-up), two spots where there's residue from stickers and a bit of missing paper (see close-up), a dark scuff mark to the lower right (see close-up), a mild crease at the left edge (see close-up), and the head and tail of the spine show some wear. Otherwise, they are in good used
condition and have no rips, tears, cuts, writing, holes, stains, or water damage.
The nice illustrations make these good reference books.
Please Note: Unless you chose otherwise, these will ship media mail. I'll be glad to combine shipping but to do so please wait until you receive a new invoice to pay
.
Thanks for looking!
******************************************************
I do my best to describe an item as completely as I can, and do my best to take the best photographs possible, so please look at all the pictures before you bid because they are an integral part of the description and in the end are the best and final description. If you would like to see a close-up of something or something else about an item, please email me and I will be glad to do that for you if possible or if time allows.
PLEASE NOTE: photographs are taken of every item before, during, and after it is packed and ready to be shipped as documentation in the unlikely event something happens in transit
.
My first priority in shipping is to pack things well enough so that when they get to you they are undamaged and look the same as they do in the listing photographs. T
he final shipping weight is usually what it is estimated to be in the listing but if I am able to get something packed -and packed well- under the estimated shipping weight then I will issue you a refund.
I will be happy to combine shipping, even on items ending on different days, but to do so
you must not pay for any of the items until you have been sent a new invoice with everything combined.
Thi
s is because once an item is payed for Ebay requires that tracking be uploaded on that invoice within a certain period of time; otherwise they penalize the seller. So,
please do not pay for any of the items you'd like combined until you receive a new invoice
. Also,
please email me and let me know that you'd like to combine items that end on different days
should you win them.
In general I only ship within the continental United States and Canada and do not ship internationally, but may do so on a case by case basis. Please email and ask if you are not in the USA or Canada and are interested in bidding on an item. Please note, however, that it is eBay's policy that
once an item has received a bid the listing cannot be changed
. So, if there is a bid on an item then it will not be possible to open the bidding to others. If an item can be opened to International bidders it will
ONLY
be opened to those in countries eligible for eBay's Global Shipping Program and will only be shipped using eBay's Global Shipping Option.
The default shipping options on most items are Priority Mail, Parcel Select, and Media Mail and the shipping charge is automatically calculated by eBay
. For small, lightweight items (like ephemera or small items that will fit safely into an envelope or a small box, a flat rate fee of .50 is charged, which covers packing, postage, and tracking. All paper items are shipped sealed in an acid-free, water proof cover.
In order to insure that every transaction is a perfect one, everything is shipped with tracking
and only
to an eBay-confirmed shipping address; and, as mention above,
p
hotographs are taken before, during, and after pack
ing in the unlikely event that such
documentation is needed. If
the final auction price of an item is over 0.00, then signature confirmation (which I will pay for) is required.
NOTE: Payment must be received within 5 days of the close of the auction.
Thank you for looking.
